The phone will ring, sound an alert when receive an email and/or text message. The glass screen is cracked and black. Cannot answer phone. Do not want to lose pictures, messages, or numbers. Is there anything that can be done?
@deborahjean you know what needs to get done. You will have to replace the display. Reading through the manual I do not see where it would require any restart or similar, where you would lose any of your data. To replace the screen, use something like this video or the writeup on here REplacement screens are available at multiple sites, so you want to pick something close to your geographic area.
