My home button stopped working. It has no water damage or anything like that. On the website it says iphone front assembly. Is this what I need to buy. When I press on the home button, it doesn’t do anything. Maybe something got disconnected. I have never done repairs to my phone before so any help would be much appreciated :)

For those who are having a non-responsive HOME button, I got my working by cleaning the two pads that the two fingers sit on. I used the cleaning fluids for LCD screens. You have to open the Iphone slightly using the method posted here on Ifixit but you don’t have to disconnect any cables.
