I would like to upgrade my laptop soon, however I see from the user manual (nicely provided and well-detailed by HP) that I need to take the rubber feet off to take case screws out and access the laptop. However, I think that I need a new pair of adhesive strips of feet to put back on and I can’t find them anywhere online.
Hi @philamignon , Try searching for L53559-001 to get suppliers. A lot of suppliers don’t show what the strips look like so that the part number can be verified as the HP description for the part is Rubber Kit - Front/Back Strips, Natural Silver. I found this supplier just to verify that it is the correct part number. I realize that it is an expired listing but it was just to match the part number to what the part looks like. Click on the image to get a close up view of what they look like. It looks like the adhesive is already on the rubber strip as they appear to be on peel off strips of some sort
