my video cable is corrupted i see longitudinal lines on the screen while any little movement, i opened the case, unpluged the Lvds cable from the board but the other side of the cable going through steel axis with black plastic cover i need to know how to reveal the black cover for the axis to see the whole cable!? *look the photo
Hi, Are you sure that you have to remove it? Looking at this video for a different Sony model the LCD cable passes through an opening at one side of the hinge. Perhaps your model is the same. View from about 7:40 minutes into the video
