I am going to replace my iPhone 8 Plus front camera & proximity sensor flex cable. I heard that true tone would be disabled when the display or the front camera and proximity sensor were replaced. Is this true? How can I restore True Tone after replacing the flex cable? Would my iPhone 8 Plus permanently lose true tone feature if I replace the front camera and proximity sensor?
