I have a Macbook early 2009 A1181. Running Mavericks 10.9.4, I would like to know how do I run a Hardware Test/ Diagnostics to trouble shoot my Macbook? I have tried shutting down my Mac and pressing ‘D’ key while powering up when I did this my Mac goes into recovery mode and always stays that way. Please Help?
If you still have your original recovery CD/DVD you can restart your system off of it to get access to the tool on the CD/DVD. What are you having problems with? Maybe the symptoms can tell us what needs to be looked at. Can you fill us in?
