I have a replacement touchscreen for this laptop (Toshiba Satellite U50T-A10-F), but the original is bonded somehow to the front bezel. I can see some tape protruding from a hole in the bezel, so I think it’s adhered by some sort of tape. The bezel has no screws, clips or any other means of securing the touch screen glass. How can I debond the tape? Would immersing it in warm water suffice? I do not want to damage the bezel, as I cannot find any replacements. Many thanks!

I have posted a link to a guide for the iPad Pro, Removing the screen is the same concept that your laptop screen is removed. If you don’t have an iOpener, You can use a Hair Dryer…Some use a heat gun but that could burn up the LCD iPad Pro 12.9" Teardown
