Chosen Solution
My phone has been turning itself off and back on for almost three weeks now. I sit outside most the time, and it works just fine. The moment I come in it shuts itself off and will not turn on. I have tried everything: holding buttons for a certain amount of time, connecting to Itunes, everything. Last time my dad messed with it, put it in the freezer because he thought it overheated. Well he took it out I do not know how many minutes later. I just gave up, and then I had a little hope. I went back to my it, and tried turning it on. BAM it was working again!
If you are experiencing overheating this is a sign the battery is deffective, and must be changed.
