I bought a Digitech Computer Articulating Desk Mount with bracket (model CW-2870) because its cheap. But I want to use it to mount a VGA monitor that is VESA-compliant ! How do you do that? Update (01/13/2020) This is the Digitech Computers’ CW-2870 from JayCar
It looks like I need to improvise. Oh well, here goes: First, source a stainless steel strip to ‘construct’ an iMac-like mount
** This will then be mounted on the VGA monitor’s VESA-compliant mount
procure some nut/bolts
drill holes onto the stainless stell strip and attached it to iMac mount of the DigiTech articulating arm with the bolts.
Secure these on to the VESA mount of the monitor
mount the assembled iMac attached to the VESA mount of the monitor onto the monitor
mount the monitor to the articulating arm. Secure with provided allen screw
All done !
