Hello My computer have external hard disk connected to it. Sometimes the disk is disconnected when I’m copying big files. If I unplug the usb and then reconect it the disk shows up again. The problem is that the computer is in the office and I have to drive there and do it. Is ther any other way to wake up the disk remotely? Thanks in advance - Tal. Update (05/11/2019) Hi :) I’m using Windows server 2012 R2 at the office. And Windows 10 at home. I’m connecting via RDP.
Are you able to launch the servers Disk Management program remotely from your home system? To see if it can kick start things.
