Completely remove school development systems

This is not the first time this has come up; I’ve covered it before. Back in school, I was able to grab printer IP addresses, bypass the web filter and make a deal with the school administrators because they were tired of fighting me, so I’m not new to this game; if there was a way, I’d probably have found a way to exploit the BIOS (Coreboot) and S/N encoding to remove it, or “block” it from being manageable, much like how old school Computrace is a one way switch.Hint: The deal was very, very good; the sysadmin was furious at me for getting it :-). I no longer annoy sysadmins for fun; I use the experience as leverage to get things done and leverage to run managed switches like HPE, Aruba and Cisco. See the answer for my take on this: My chromebook has an admin on it, how do I remove it?.THE BYPASSES DO NOT WORK!!! The admin tie cannot be removed without having the Chromebook’s S/N removed from the organization’s system, and a powerwash. The Chromebook remote management is tied to the device serial number, so you need to replace the board or contact the company who put the management on to remove it otherwise it will always be there until someone does it or replaces the board. In addition to that, ALL post “CR-48” Chromebooks are patched against the CLI serial number swap; in order to change the serial number, you need to know how to rework the motherboard with a new BIOS chip with a new S/N or reprogram the old one (hex knowledge required). In addition to that, some of them encrypt or protect it in such a way you can’t practically change it, or it wipes the chip if you try.

if the school provided you with the laptop you should NOT try to wipe it or remove their configuration.

It goes from settings, there is a button to delete all system data. If you still don’t want to use school apps

Really helped me a lot
