My motherboard got water damaged such that the power supply is down, computer can’t turn on or charge the battery. To repair it I need a schematic to understand the circuitry, and a component layout to identify the parts and find them on the board. Does anyone know where to find this documentation? I was a HP Field Service Engineer for the Chemical Analysis Division waay back when, but that doesn’t help me now. TIA, Jon
@jonct okay so here is the schematic for your motherboard. The problem is that there is no board view available. Yet, but still looking. HP 15-f162dx
Its easier to buy new motherboard than attempting to fix it
