Chosen Solution
Hey everyone, Well this might be a bit long winded but honestly I have no idea where to start with this. A friend showed me this HP all in one some time ago, which had a problem where it wouldn’t boot, but the power light and fans would come on. He went to get this fixed by someone else, and when it came back it didn’t want to work at all, as in the power is dead, and even the led on the back that tells you that the board is plugged in and getting power seems dead. I took it off him and looked at the board, it seems like some components were faulty and just got soldered over, but that seems to be making some kind of short circuit, given how the power light on my power brick itself goes out when you plug it in. Anyway, thanks for any ideas anyone has on this.. because I’m completely lost
