I am attempting to repair a HP Pavilion Flat Screen TV that won’t power up and the led light next to the power button flashes 10-times in a continuous cycle. I unplugged and reset and the same issue repetes continiously. Please point me in the right direction for error code charts showing possible issues. Hi, There is not much information at all online regarding your model TV. I did manage to find in a forum (12th post down) from 2005 where someone said that a HP PL4200N is actually a rebadged Panasonic TH-42PX500U. With that in mind and I don’t know how true it is, then perhaps the following may help. Here’s an image of the LED 10 blink error troubleshooting flowchart taken from the Panasonic TH-42PX500U service manual
(click on image to enlarge for better viewing) If the board layout in your TV seems to be the same as what is shown in the chart then perhaps it is the same. Other than this I cannot find any information that would help you.
