Hp Photosmart 1215 Is Printing Garbage Hp Photosmart

HP Photosmart 1215 was installed on Win7 using Windows Update but it only prints out " $and a black circle$> $$three black circles $$two black circles$" What can be the problem.

We got it fixed already by removing the 1215 printer and installing the HP Deskjet 990C driver via internet reference to similar problem. The HP 1215 now prints correctly.
