Hello, I accidentally spilled water on my laptop Its MacBookPro2017. my keyboard is all dead. nothing works except power button. everything else seems working fine. Is there a way to replace keyboard. when I asked apple guys, they told $500 for keyboard. in addition they told that display would also get affected. But I don’t see any problems in display.
@dsksanthu , we do have the part in stock for this particular model. I also want to include the parts page for this model too, just in case you need more than just the replacement keyboard. Additionally, if you don’t need to replace the actual keyboard housing, then you could just buy the keys. We don’t have an exact guide for replacing the keyboard, but we do have this guide that serves as the starting point for most repairs. Maybe giving the repair a try yourself will be less expensive than the Apple quote :)
