I am locked out of my ipad 2 and need to be able to fully bypass the lock screen.

In order to bypass the lock screen you will have to restore your iPad. Restoring will erase all data on your iPad! Sadly, restoring is the only option availble at the time. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201252
