I recently purchased the Asus VG248QE monitor which has 144hz refresh rate screen. My problem is, I am only getting 60hz maximum from it. I tried to connect my monitor from different HDMI cables and from different ports but the results are the same. Why am I not getting the highest 144hz refresh rate options?
Pretty sure you have to use the display port instead of the HDMI port
Go to your desktop. Right click and select screen resolution. Choose advanced settings and here choose 144hz refresh rate. If you aren’t seeing 144hz option then might be a problem in connections, Drivers. I found one reference article for you. You need to troubleshoot your settings and all to figure out things.
