I bought a battery for my 2017 function key macbook pro with retina. However, the one i recieved seem to have a cable/wire that was not attached as it is in the picture on your website as well as on the battery I replaced. Is it broken. If so, I need a replacement
The battery has a small cable that connects to the SMC logic to monitor the battery. If it’s missing the battery won’t work correctly. Click to zoom the image
