I can only here the caller talk when I have the loud speaker turned on but they can’t here me talk unless the loud speaker is turned off - this all seems to have started after I replaced the screen but I’ve taken the screen back off and checked connections etc which all look good
Hello, It is most likely that you have damaged the cables during the repair. The earpiece speaker is very very fragile and is susceptible to tearing. This can happen whenever the lcd is pulled too far back when opening the phone or if it got torn or tugged on when prying the lcd from the frame of the phone. It will have to be replaced as there is really no way to repair these flex/sensory cables. It could also have shorted out when the repair was done if you kept the battery plugged in. You will most likely need to replace the front-facing camera sensory cable as well as the earpiece speaker. These are both very fragile parts prone to tearing and damage on the phone so if you did damage these and this was your first repair, do not despair! It happens to the best of us, so don’t get discouraged, the experience is what helps us learn.
