The fan assembly feels loose however it wont come out. Its like the fan is swollen and stuck to the underlying assembly some how? Am i missing something ? I believe all the screws have been removed..
Hi @rabond , Here’s the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop. Go to p.83-84 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the CPU card and the fan. Hopefully this may help you to remove the fan If the fan requires replacing, on p.109 Item #27 you will find the part number for the fan. Search online using the part number only will give results for suppliers of the part.
