https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bEY6zO3… I replaced my cracked screen on my Lg g6 and since the part that is circled in blue ink in the picture no longer works. It charges fine, Google play music app works perfect, and I can hear notifications. I am currently using another phone so not sure if can hear the ring tone. The only way I can hear someone or they hear me is if I use a headset that you plug into the audio jack or using the speaker phone. I also tried replacing the Usb C Port flex cable but that did not change anything.
Several things can go wrong here. 1 make sure there is nothing covering the speaker hole on the outside or inside of the phone. 2 make sure the speaker its self is lined up with the hole on the screen. 3 make sure speaker is connected correctly. 4 Clean all the connections for the speaker. If all else fails yo may have to purchase a new speaker, Could have been damaged when changing the screen.
