You will need a PHILIPS Size 0 screwdriver to remove the back panel. You will have to remove the 8 screws on the back (there are none under the plastic feet), then you will need a plastic card so you can stick it between the body and the cover, then slide the card around the sides to pop them out, after that you can just separate the hinge-side of the panel from the body with your hands....

I have tried for long lengths of time attempting to reconnect both of these, but no matter how hard I try, they will not connect. Is it just a matter of leaving logic board in, disconnecting battery and using toothbrush and alcohol? Please advise - really need to get this running for my son and school. Thanks everyone. Chosen Solution All the screen’s look like a negative, help Have you checked in Settings for the Accessability options. There’s an option in there to invert colors (ie negative). If this is checked, uncheck it.
