Best is to replace the battery door. Replacements are most of the time available at places like this. You know, of course, that there are 100 EasyShare on eBay selling for $5. I think there are a couple that may work for less than $10....

With the MT3707 you’ll need to locate an IDE hard drive if my research is correct. As far as I can tell this is straight out of 2001 and shipped with Windows XP, and many of these early XP laptops from 2001-3 use IDE instead of SATA....

Chosen Solution Hello, I’ve been having the issue with the LCD flickering screen. Trying several times to disconnect and reconnect the LCD cable to the motherboard, I end up broking one pin and now the screen is all black even when the PC is on. I’ve seen on eBay that LCD cables for this computer exist, but I can’t find anywhere how to replace them. I haven’t tried to disassembly it yet, but it looks like the LCD assembly is a glued piece and is very hard to disassembly and reassembly the cable....

Chosen Solution Brand new camera , the front glass broke cant it be repaired ie replaced relatively easily ? My camera broke as well… I pulled out the silver ring that surrounded the original broken glass (it is easy to remove using a small pliers), cleaned all the broken glass pieces and ordered a flat glass watch crystal diameter 29mm Thick 1mm on aliexpress Once it arrives i believe I can glue all the parts together again, almost like the original camera....

Chosen Solution Hi team, just after some guidance on how to strip down the Sony PS 1100 turntable to get to the auto return mechanism. The turntable works really well in all other aspects, I.e. the reject function works well but the auto return won’t work. Chosen Solution After 2 years of using my laptop just a few times a week my hinges cause the back of Computer at both sides to open and hinges pop out as I open the laptop. It still works, but tiny pieces have fallen out and I don’t want it to stop working. Chosen Solution I recently purchased the Asus VG248QE monitor which has 144hz refresh rate screen. My problem is, I am only getting 60hz maximum from it. I tried to connect my monitor from different HDMI cables and from different ports but the results are the same. Why am I not getting the highest 144hz refresh rate options? Pretty sure you have to use the display port instead of the HDMI port...
