Chosen Solution Hi folks I have a little big problem. Yesterday I changed the battery of my Macbook Pro Mid 2012 13” i5 2.5Ghz (no retina). Unfortunately a small part broke off (see appendix). Do you know the name of this part? It is located above the battery connection. Fortunately I didn’t lose this part. How can I check it for function? Strangely enough, the Macbook runs without problems. So I can’t say what the part is for....

Chosen Solution I have completed the install of a new screen for my iPhone 8 but after transferring the home button from the old screen to the new one it is no longer recognized (as in it doesn’t function at all, not as a button and not for Touch ID). To test, I put it back in the old screen and reassembled the iPhone 8 and the button worked fine again (haptic response and touch id) but after moving it back to the new iFixit screen and reassembling the iPhone the button stops working (no haptic response, no touch id, no response from iphone)....

Chosen Solution My Home buttons has stopped from working anymore in a morning so I used assistive touch like a day Next day I thought If I do a factory reset I have added all my data and writes PRESS HOME BUTTON TO CONTINUE If I restart it is useless And on iTunes does not have show me the device is connected. You can use one of these bad boys to get around this hurdle for the meantime....

Chosen Solution I have a Toshiba 50UL2063DG Android TV, and it was working fine until lines started appearing on the TV, these were basically unnoticeable at first, but a while later, they started getting worse to the point where the lines would start flashing. This covers a large part of the display. Right after turning on, the TV is fine with just a few lines, but after just a few minutes, the lines cover most of the screen and flash....

Chosen Solution The iPhone had an Apple ID that was blocked so we couldn’t sign out and the owner of the Apple ID couldn’t remember the answers to security questions. So we tried 4ukey, which removed (?) the Apple ID, so we logged in to a new Apple ID. The iPhone couldn’t detect a sim and was always on “Searching”, so we decided to update the iOS through OTA. We downloaded the file but it will give an error saying unable to install update....

Chosen Solution My ride on mower starts fine and ticks over as it should but when I release the brake and try to move forward or reverse the engine stalls then dies completely, it will not move in any direction. Also if I try to engage the blades the divine then stalls and cuts out. Any ideas how to stop this ? Sounds like the seat safety switch is not depressed when you sit on the mower…assuming you have a rider mower or some other safety device like a blade break is stuck in on position...

How do I get the password The person who setup your system will have it (if its a company system). You could try your password if you are the one who installed the OS. Otherwise you may need to re-install the OS, apps & your stuff hopefully you have a backup....

Chosen Solution How to turn off the emergency call only on my LGK7 phone? Have you registered the phone on a carrier’s network yet? They have to activate it for it to place normal calls. Call their customer support or bring it to a store. Be ready with the number printed on the SIM card and the IMEI, which is under the battery.

Chosen Solution I need to disable the wireless / bluetooth connectivity on my xbox one elite controller. Every time I use the controller (excuse my language) my nuts hurt!! Literally I am not kidding I moved my xbox all around to the house. I only get this feeling when I play with this controller for like 45 minutes. Chosen Solution i have yet another problem with this freaking tablet (sm-p550, with s pen). it installed the update i didn’t want by itself!! i successfully downgraded the os last week thanks to a member but now it continues to bug me about the stupid update! AND that update installs itself if allowed to shut off completely! i wasn’t able to be around as i had to do laundry. how do i prevent the stupid update from happening and keep it from annoying me to install it?...

Chosen Solution The GPU fan of my GS63VR 6RF is making a lot of noise and vibration during gameplay. A simple clean might be enough, remove the bottom panel of the laptop and take some compressed air and try to remove and dirt and dust that could be blocking the fans. Once you have tried that turn it on and just load up a quick game and see if it helps....

Chosen Solution Get a good chime, drive spins, optical spins ( instal disk now stuck) but machine does not boot. Can not reset pram, get only one chime, holding eject or track pad button or start will not eject disk. Have to hold power button to shut down. I removed the track pad temp sensor thinking it might be in emergency sleep but no change to start up behavior. Battery charges fine....

Chosen Solution EMC number: EMC 2834 I know enough to know enough, and thats not much.My iMac crashed randomly after upgrading from High Sierra. I can boot into recovery mode but not safe mode. In recovery mode it shows no drive to restart, back up from my time machine, etc. I ran Disk-aid and everything says its fine. If I go to wipe it, it states error can’t write last sector....

Chosen Solution Hello, I have a MBP 13" 2010 where the old HDD was somewhat damaged. It could only boot up in safe mode and was very slow then. I bought a new HDD and HD cable. Installed the new HD cable and HDD, but when I booted up from Disk Utility it couldn’t detect any HDD. Tried changing the HDD to the old HDD, but now it couldn’t find the old HDD either and it couldn’t even boot up in safe mode....

Chosen Solution I ripped the connector off of the ribbon cable for the headphone jack and I cant find any replacement parts. So, I am going to attempt to bypass the ribbon cable connector by soldering to the test pads on the ribbon cable. I’ve found that pads 6,7,8 go to sleeve, ring, and tip respectively. I would like to solder wires from these pads to the correct pins on the connector socket on the logic board but cant find any information on which pins are the right ones....

Chosen Solution I have an iphone 6s plus ios 11.2.2, today i was using my phone normally as always but suddenly i was starting to notice the battery wasnt draining and it was stuck at 52 percent with low power mode, for me i just didnt mind that bc i was thinking that it might not die early so i kept using it until my phone started lagging like crazy, so i restarted it then when it turned back on, it was only 1 percent then it went 2 percent after 4 hours it is still stuck at 2 percent....
