Chosen Solution After successfully calibrating my hoverboard I turn it off and then back on and climb in the seat of “the buggy”, the HOVER-1 seat attachment, I try to move forward by pushing gently down on both controls evenly. I start to move but suddenly the RIGHT side “gives in” and there is no response from that side. There seems to be zero power going to that wheel. It will work again for a moment after turning off/on but it always stops operating....

Using some 95% or better isopropyl alcohol flush out the gap of any junk using a syringe with a small needle and a few short blasts of can’ed air. Hmm, I’ve seen similar behavior from LCDs before but only on laptops, and not nearly so repeatable. best I was able to figure out was that there was a loose connection between the controller boards along the edges of the panel and the panel itself. I was only doing warranty work at the time and Compaq would just send a complete display assembly....
Chosen Solution Last night we had a major thunderstorm. Several hours later, the volume went on my tv. I was watching it, the picture on the screen flashed on and off twice and then there was no volume, but the picture was fine. Nothing else in the house lost power and the upstairs tv is fine. It MAY have been a power surge that killed something but more likely a bad HDMI cable....

If so, how do i change the screen on this phone? mnsblondie, since the digitizer and the LCD are fused, you will have to replace the complete front display. Chosen Solution I have opened the back to try and access the hard drive as I believe that something may be wrong with the connection between the hard drive and the CPU. I’m now officially stuck, can’t find the hard drive in the back of the laptop. I can locate the drive chip, not quite sure if that has anything to do with the fishing folder error. Chosen Solution I put a dvd in my computer and it did not show on the screen. I cannot eject it. If the eject button doesn’t work you can turn off your computer then turn it back on holding the mouse button down. Make sure you hold it down until A) the DvD/CD pops out OR B) you just see the apple logo (which means it failed to eject) If it failed to eject that means the disc drive is probably bent down in which case it would be best to bring it into apple....

Chosen Solution I have disconnected internal 5k display and have connected that to a circuit board allowing for external inputs (I can now use the 5k screen as external monitor with my new laptop) I would still like to be able to use iMac as a computer - it will boot with external screen (even its own original screen connected “externally”) but the fan spins full speed and the CPU throttles… I assume this is because there was a temperature sensor on the LCD panel which is now not connected to iMac meaning iMac thinks its overheating… Is there anyway to make the iMac ignore that sensor?...
Chosen Solution The wire on the left ear bud was slightly tugged. I think the wires no longer connect to the circuit in the earbud. Is there any way I can pry open it so that I can solder it. Get some pliers and gently squeeze the outer portion of the earbud where it is divided by a thin red line and twist and pull.

I suggest that you use a small bladed (1/2” - 1” ) paint scraper or a thin butter knife rather than a screwdriver to minimize the cosmetic damage when opening the case....
Chosen Solution The PC wont power on, the charging indicator shows up when i plug it in but there are no other signs of life. If you find a service manual… there may be information that you can use to more easily disassemble and find where the power button goes to on the board and bridge those pins with a small screwdriver or wire to try to power on. At that point you can also test and see if the power button is working… unless you totally don’t really have a power button (make sure it’s not the top part only… there might be something you can press still with a smaller tool or pencil tip)....

The useful files including in some folders. So they are lost too. Please help me to get them back. If you have emptied the Trash folder of Mac, then there is very less probability of data recovery using the OS X itself....
