Chosen Solution I have a Asus U56E I cannot figure out if the mouse touchpad is glued to the palmrest or how to replace it. i used a heat gun on low I just had to replace the touchpad on an Asus U56E and I also can confirm that it is glued to the palm rest. I too removed it with a heat gun on low. I heated the plastic touchpad on the top of the palm rest (not the touchpad circuit board itself on the bottom of the palm rest) for about 5 min at about 300 degrees & then was able to get a very thin pry tool under the edge of the circuit board & just slid the tool all the way around the edge of the circuit board, then heated it again for several minutes & then finally very carefully pried it off with a plastic pry tool....
Chosen Solution Hello, I did an entire iPhone 5 teardown and rebuild. I have tried everything posted above, and I am still receiving “No Service” The iPhone recognizes when I remove the SIM card. I have tried different sim cards as well and resetting network settings. I do not know what is causing it to say No Service, but it is very annoying. EVERYTHING on this phone works besides cellular. Since the charging port flex contains the cellular antenna I have recently looked around that area a lot....

Chosen Solution The TV turns on, green led comes on. No picture or sound. Backlight flashing every 20 secs or so, followed by a clicking sound from the relay on the power board. When I turn off and back on, and then change the source with the remote, eg from tuner to HDMI, I get picture for a brief 1 or 2 seconds and then it goes blank again. During the 2 secs with picture, I can also hear a very low buzzing sound....
Chosen Solution I disassembled my floor fan because it was making a grinding noise that wouldn’t let me sleep. I then proceeded to lubricate all attatchments, as well as the gearbox (cleaning it all up, of course), but the noise persisted and I found out that the electromagnet in the middle is grinding the coil. Since the shaft of it is supported by two attatchments (they pivot if you move the shaft on one end to the side), they supposedly stay leveled when the shaft is spinning, but even so, the electromagnet in the middle grinds the inner sides of the coil....

Chosen Solution I broke the pin connector of LCD to the logic board. Is there any way to fix ? Not sure if you mean the pin on the flex connector or logic board. But either way if the pin has broken off you will have to get a new screen or a new connector soldered on to the logic board. Connectors are replaceable by microsolderers, however it is often signs of troubleshooting something else....

Chosen Solution I got a MacBook off ebay, with a known overheating problem. I disassembled it (using guides here!) and cleaned it out. Inside there were a few small sticky patches that might’ve been a liquid spill, as well as lots of hair and dust! It was working before (though the fan made nasty grinding noises) but since taking it apart it’s now completely dead! When pressing the power button, there is no screen image and no chime....

Chosen Solution I am having issues with the power function of my HMDX Jam speaker. make sure your speaker is using the right micro USB cord and its connected to a power source (computer, universal USB charger).And leave it on the Charger for at least 3 to 4 hour. If your still having issue with your HMDX Jam HX-P230 , you can reset the speaker by pressing and holding play/pause for 5 seconds until you hear a noise....
