I could probably solder it but this came off and i need help. not disconnected. it did not damage the board though so it may not be as bad Ouch! You pulled off the entire connector from the logic board and looking at the image of the logic board you pulled off a few traces as well with the connector....

I made him try about 500 times since it doesn’t do a permanent lockout like some Lenovo secure laptops. I finally tried the factory reset pinhole at the bottom after giving just about every other solution I found a try from taking it apart to remove the CMOS battery, to using a program that is supposed to calculate the unlock code for the computer based on the “Enter Unlock Password (Key 524715000)” prompt that I get each time after 3 unsuccessful tries to enter it....

You would need to disassemble and reasseble the display and ensure the LCD is seated properly, or that no parts/screws are loose in the area to cause pressure from behind. This may have also been caused from heat applied during the repair procedure, so it may not be pressure....
Chosen Solution The aspect ratio on my tv is messed up (the picture is too big for the screen). Any idea how to fix the aspect ratio? Maybe by factory resetting? Chosen Solution Got an used HP LP3065 30” monitor from OfferUp, it looks OK. However, I can only get resolution of 1280x800, but it supposed to have 2560x1600 setup, here is what I did: Use mini display to dvi cable connecting my laptop with the monitor, it shows 1280x800 only, no other option can be chosen. Use Apple dual link dvi adaptor for this connection (which has a separate usb cable, and is used to connect my 30” apple Cinema Display with my laptop), the 2560x1600 resolution option shows up, but cursor stays at 1280x800, if I select that “2560x1600” resolution, there is nothing shows up on monitor at all (I can see some lights on the screen, but just no image shows up)....
