I use a plastic opener tool to gently pop open the plastic latches around the outside. Go gently. The latches come off when you apply enough pressure upward. The only thing you can do is replace the panel. Panels that size, if they are even available, cost more than a new TV, What I suggest is that you try to purchase a TV that is broken other than the screen and harvest the screen from that....

Chosen Solution Asus C302CA chromebook does not charge. Need to replace usb type C ports. @tmb2600 the ports are soldered to the boards. There should be one on the I/O board and one on the motherboard. In either case you will have to disassemble your Flip and remove the board with the failed connector. Then you have to try to source a new connector, unsolder the old on and replace it with a new one....

My question is: If I install the new one and later find my old one and put the original back in will the touch ID then work again?
