Chosen Solution I have a canon powershot s3, and the door that covers memory card fell off. I have ordered a new cover, but I can’t figure out how to put the rod and spring back in to put cover back on. Chosen Solution i have a Frigoglass Retro 240 (FG RET240) cocacola display fridge. the previous owner broke fa blade off by not letting the fridge defrost completly. i can see the fan and the broken off blade but can’t get to it. the retro 290 has a pull out shelf that the cooling sytem is mounted to. the 240 looks like it is constructed the same but the shelf WON’T BUDGE!...

Chosen Solution Yes it’s possible to solder a new one; you will most likely need to desolder one from a donor/dead board and move it across to yours. You can heat the opposite side of the logic board to remove this without melting the plastic connector. Not aware of a source for new ones, I just remove from donors if I ever need connectors like this That’s wonderful, many thanks. They certainly seem hard to come by !...

Chosen Solution On the motherboard the power switch pad is smashed Hmm, you may need to replace the motherboard or the computer itself. If you don’t feel comfortable replacing the motherboard yourself, then contact your computer manufacturer to have it fixed. Danny Vaughan no reason to replace the motherboard just yet because of a switch. Post some good pictures of your board and the damaged switch etc. At bare minimum a switch can be bridge with some jumpers etc or you can always try and resolder a new switch....

Chosen Solution sharp LC50LB481U The TV originally led would flash and not turn on but I did a factory reset and now it turns and has an image if a flashlight is shone at the screen. Hi, Just smash it with a heavy sledge hammer or any other way that you can think of to break the HDD into smaller pieces and then distribute them separately into different public recycling bins around the place. the right answer is a sledge hammer. the correct answer is to configure it as an external drive and do a security erase on it and reuse it or sell it and keep it out of the landfill....
