Chosen Solution I have worked on many different phones and tablets before and have no problem removing the old adhesive residue with alcohol and qtips/scrapers. But this is first time i seen the adhesive so strong and hard to remove the residue. I am planning to reuse the digitizer because that is not broken. Seems like i might have to heat it up just to remove it.. TIA Try putting your alcohol on a cotton ball and place it on the adhesive with some plastic wrap covering it....

As you’ve probably found, the top of the bezel is larger than the hole in the glass, so it’s impossible to replace just the glass with a piece that’s cut to the size of the original because the hole for the bezel wont fit over it....

Chosen Solution To replace failed hatch lock mechanism, need to remove two “Triple Square” (12-point) bolts that attach lock to hatch panel. Videos say use an MM8 bit but it’s too large, MM6 bit is too small. Cannot find an MM7 in any set or anywhere on internet - if it exists?? Since hatch lock replacement is a common problem, has anyone dealt with this issue? I struggled with a couple of bolts like them on a audi before, I got one of those cheap multi size socket ends for the ratchet that have them small hex shapes inside on springs, got the bolts off and then just replaced them with standard bolts after to avoid the problem again....

Chosen Solution Need to find a longer version of the battery connector screw. The hole is stripped at top and screw isn’t long enough with the connector in place to hold now. Without the battery connector in place, the screw can reach the parts of the hole that aren’t stripped, so I think a longer version of the same screw would work. Any idea how to find that (or another compatible slightly longer screw)?...

Using painter’s tape, tape the window glass to the door frame to hold it in place. Next you will need to remove the inner door panel to access the regulator. Unfortunately Volvo rivets their regulators into place making them a pain to replace.
