Chosen Solution Service center technician said the main board has to be replaced. But they are not wiling to repair the main board in component level. Guess they prety much saves time but replacing the whole board rather than spend time locating the faulty component. Can anyone give me a starting point to start diagnose the main board by myself. Chosen Solution i got the battery out and i was doing the screws on the top plate and the bottom left one refuses to move… i don’t want to break the phone but need to finish fast PLEASE HELP Nothing on the phone should require any force. I use a #00 driver for those screws. Is the screw stripped?? I dont know what kind of repair you are doing but if you apply gentle upward pressure on the plate as you try to unscrew it that may help the screw grip and come unscrewed :)
Chosen Solution How do I get my old Kenmore sewing machine to do the regular straight stitch and forward stitches, and NOT just the stretch and reverse stitching? I have read the manual over and over again, oiled and tuned, triple checked that the special stitch modifier is in the right position, all settings are correct etc. Sounds like the machine’s reverse button may be stuck in the ‘pressed’ position. Squirt some WD-40 or similar release oil on the button’s shaft and internals, to free it up....
Chosen Solution I did a screen replacement and everything works when i attach the new screen (the connector piece) but when i try to glue the screen onto the phone it goes black or has no backlight ?!. There is either damage present on the flex cable, the connector for the display is coming loose when laying the screen down, or something on the back of the display flex cable is grounding out on the frame and causing the no display issue....

I highly suggest you just buy a new LCD/Digitizer already assembled.
Chosen Solution Something is stocked inside the charging port. Refer to this video on how to clean the charging port. Most likely there is dust and lint: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJisCKos… When cleaning be careful and avoid touching the charging socket pins (they push down normally). If there is a metal foreign object stuck inside this is quite hard to remove. I’d take to a repair shop to get it done to avoid charging socket damage....

I can’t find one anywhere online. @kadyboon just in case you are taking about the Main (master)Window Switch. This explains how to do it and what to do after. A proper tool would be something like a small putty knife etc.
