Chosen Solution My back cover screws seem to be cross threaded and screw in about 60% of the way. I do not want to use any more force which may strip the head. If the screw is damaged, replace it. If the threads that the screw turns into are damaged, I would put a small amount of silicone sealant or other type adhesive glue of your choice on the screw, then thread push into place....
Chosen Solution This happened two days ago when my mom hit my laptop pretty hard, it just didn’t want to work. At first it was just a black screen that showed my cursor after the hp logo, now after the logo it just keeps loading, y’know with the little balls spinning in a circle but without the logo, literally a black loading screen, also after a while it crashes and pulls up the blue screen with a sad face which turns the entire thing into a loop....
Chosen Solution I replaced my battery yesterday with the IFixit kit. The screen and the button are the same as before (ie. original Apple kit). The iPhone glue was softened and opened up with the ‘hairdryer’ method to release the screen glue. At the same time I replaced the Haptic engine, as mine had stopped working. Spudger used was used carefully (ie no apparent damage to any ribbon cables inside) and the iphone was put pat together again without problem....

Chosen Solution I was trying to arm my alarm and clicking the alarm switch back and forth and since I couldn’t get it to go off I believed it to not work. Until I came out of class and opened my door and set the alarm off. After 2 minutes the alarm is supposed to reset itself and cut off. It does. Download a battery app from the Google Play store. I recommend “Battery HD” by smallte.ch. This app will tell you when the battery is done charging and then you should unplug it to avoid overcharging. There’s also “Battery Doctor” by Cheetah Mobile, but that app asks for and has access to too much personal information and they advertise a lot of their other apps through it that you don’t need....

And it gets burning hot to the touch when it is charging what should I do? Rice is not a solution for a wet phone. Chosen Solution Recently my galaxy s4 headphone jack has been mistaken fried because I plugged in a 3.5 jack that was filled with electricity (thanks to the crappy speaker) So right now when I plugged in my headphone, the sound from left channel would crackle a lot, and the right channel doesn’t even play. The speaker still works, and I can still play the music just fine from the bluetooth. I’ve look up ifixit to replace the jack, and found across a similar person who have the similar problem but unfortunately he can’t solve the problem by replacing the headset....
