Chosen Solution My IPad air is at 100% then it restarts in a loop (alway restart every 3-5 minutes), after it restarts it goes to 1% You could try restoring the iPad but it sounds like the battery connection is either loose or battery needs replacement. Make sure to backup iPad via iTunes before restoring the iPad as it wipes all data on the iPad. If you just replaced your battery like I did, make sure you put the screw back where the battery connector is....

I see replacements are available for relatively cheap, wanting to find out how they are actually replaced though. I suppose the SIM card slot is soldered on the motherboard. you will need professional instrument when need to re-solder the new slot. how difficult would this be?...
