Chosen Solution I wiped the tank with acetone rage it got real foggy I tried to use scratch remmover for a car and wet sanded it now there is a big white spot If your tank is acrylic. acetone is the last cleaner to use. It softens certain plastics. As you found out, it most likely softened plastic while wiping it transferred material onto the clear plastic now discolored. Drying may leave stains, marks and cloudy spots....

Recently changed to macbook pro 13” 2018 model, however, when connecting it with this monitor, color is not as good compared with when using the windows’ laptop (the retina screen itself from macbook pro is great, just the image showing on the external display is not that good as expected), check the scale setting under “Display”, and found it can keep the 4K level if choosing the minimum fonts there, but will look as 1080p level if choosing the default font....

I cut a length of duct tape, about 20cm long, cut it down the middle, stuck it crosswise onto the cover plate (taking care not to stick it to anything else) then tugged on the free ends in an anti-clockwise motion while pressing the plate inwards....

Would like to replace. kramereli, you could follow this guide right to step 14 and remove the logic board. then you will need to desolder the port and replace it with a new one. The port is not to expensive and readily available at places like this. Here is a decent video that will show you how to do the actual repair....
