Chosen Solution My kindle froze up and wouldn’t reboot. I determined it was the mother board, which I replaced. But now the screen has evenly spaced horizontal lines - like a bad print from a printer with low ink. Is replacing the screen my only option? I allowed my Kindle battery to run completely down. When I charged it. the screen orabout 30% of it looks normal, , but the remaining 70% is horizontal lines....

This is the second one Ive repaired and still can’t get the display to push down tight, I know to slide it in at the top and then push down towards home. Is there something else to it? Also on this particular one I bought the display only so had to transfer earpiece and front camera and home button....

I cracked my phone not too long a go and realized too late that maybe the water could get through the glass. sure enough my phone now cant charge and will turn on and off . The is the tail light that is on the rear hatch that opens (if looking at the back of the vehicle it is the right inner tail light if that matters). I am very techy and have already checked to make sure it sleeps or shutdowns when the screen is closed. Look for a li’l tiny hole (LOL) on the outside of the phone and if you find one, use a paper clip to hold it in there for about a minute at the most.

You will have to disassemble your tablet and ensure that the ribbon cables are still fully seated. If so, replace the digitizer.
