Chosen Solution I’ve shattered the glass on my Huawei P8 lite’s screen but the LCD under it is fine. I’ve ordered a replacement, non-OEM one but can’t find any guides on replacement. Anyone got any experience on doing something like this? it would be better just to buy the full screen as they arent that expensive, it will save alot of hassle, the glass may have been cheap but you will probably need loca glue and a uv lamp

The phone is otherwise flawless - a testament actually to the durability of the phone (something I thought I’d never say…). In any case, I see there are the lens replacements (with bezel) available from the store (see link). However, there are no guides to actually do this procedure....

Chosen Solution the tri strike has a pin with orange knobs on either end. My son has taken the pin out detaching 1 knob. Once out he has put the knob back on but now he cannot remove the pin from the knobs and hence put it back in the gun. @shilpesh , Shilpesh Patel, The video below shows the disassembly of the TRI-STRIKE. Chosen Solution Every disassembly guide at some point has you remove the screws holding the mid-case to the front. The Galaxy Stardust has no screws. It looks like it’s glued together. Is there any way to repair this thing? I can’t find a disassembly guide for this, however, looking at the phone, this will likely need an iFixit heating pad. What you would need to do is heat the glue between the screen and the phone’s body....

Check on here i did not know how to take the phone apart so i took up the digitizer then cut the cable the got the lcd out. its a small door on the back of the phone top right werer you disconnect the lcd from the board. Hi,most likely a factory reset will not fix your problem.From what i can tell if you still have the orginal battery there isa part you can move across from the orginal battery or you can use a programmer to programme the battery to show a certain battery percentage

Chosen Solution I recently cracked my LG Aristo glass screen, there is no damage to the LCD at all. So I purchased a Front Glass Screen replacement + OCA+ Frame Tape. Chosen Solution after changing the motherboard (old one made the camera functions freeze within seconds) the camera is overheating just by inserting the battery. If I try to charge it, I got the overheating warning and the camera switches off. Any idea what I did wrong or is it a faulty motherboard? thanks @georg55 possible that it is the motherboard. I’d contcact the vendor and see if they let you repalce it....
Chosen Solution The green light on the Magsafe adapter comes on, but the computer will not power on (no fan, no anything). I’ve tried the reset button combination. Nothing. Could it be the Magsafe board? Logic board? I have both parts from a donor computer that I’m 99% sure should be good (but I can’t check). Is there anything else it’s likely to be? The first thing you would try would be to check if the cables are correctly in place. Open up your phone, disconnect the battery, then unplug the screen cables and reconnect them again....

Rechargeable lead acid gel batteries have a limited life so testing each battery (if more than one) may be necessary to determine if they’re at the end of their useful life and replacement needed....
Chosen Solution I have a IP7 with no Touch ID or home button working. I changed for a JC home button yet I get no response with single click/return to home or long press. There is also no response through home button settings. The only response I get is from double click with half screen. I tried another JC home but still have the same problem. The buttons work ok in another IP7....
Chosen Solution I was placing the sensor and all the home button to the new screen, and suddenly the part that goes attach to the phone, it fell apart from the cable. The cable is intact and the piece that has to be fitted into the phone is too, I dont know if there is a way to make it work again, because it didnt cut it just fall apart from its place....
