Chosen Solution When reconnecting the display data cable to the logic board on an EMC 2428, is there a trick to lining it up correctly? I assume that the connection is made by inserting the male cable to the female socket on the logic board by sliding it towards the top of the machine (the reverse of the disconnection), yes?. But I cannot get it to seat in the socket. I would hate to damage it....

You’re going to have to remove the Mother board and remove the screws underneath the keyboard. From what I can tell, the board should remove from the inside of the device rather than from the top like other devices.

Chosen Solution hey team. after one of my techs did a screen replacement, they broke the home button. we have replaced it, and are 100% aware that the touch ID will not work with it. HOWEVER, when we run through a continuity test, the home button works. We can 100% apply a hard reset to the device, without issue. unfortunately, the home button doesnt activat on press when the device is booted....

That particular board is part of the LCD panel and thus not separately replaceable. Of course, you always want to check the wiring on the inside of your TV. Chosen Solution When I move the setting to wifi on, it just turns grey. The same happens with Bluetooth @tbow2k ,Tom. I found a suggested fix from a forum 1st link below, remove battery, hold down power button 30 seconds, reinstall battery and power on. Other things to check would to be up to date on firmware. Rob, that may not be your tablets issue but an issue from the website hosting server. Try to access the same page with a different computer and see what you get. What that means in general is that the site is no longer available or not found on the server....
