Chosen Solution A few months ago I bought a second hand C50-A-157 on Windows 7 which worked until recently. Last week, I switched it on and the screen appeared to be blank however; if I shine a torch on it, I can see the desktop very faintly. When I removed the screen bezel, there was the screen, camera and assorted wires but no inverter. Thus, using the part numbers off the original, I ordered a replacement screen panel (NT156WHM-N50) and a video cable (1422-01EH000) and fitted them, but to no avail....
Chosen Solution I know there is a guide on this website showing the teardown of the ps4 slim and it shows that the 10 screws to remove the top of the slim to access the fan and disc drive are 5mm screws, but I don’t know the type to get. I went on amazon and it has tons of 5mm electronic screws, but I imagine its gotta be a certain type though....

And watch its self if perfect just screen and outer case needs replacing but cant find outer case anywhere on line. It’s black in colour . Chosen Solution how do you remove the metal from the Sleeve Spacing Assembly ? do you need a special pulley? You could probably use a bearing puller tool? Or clamp some underneath it such that it’s not gripping the axle but is providing pressure to the lip of the sleeve, then on a hard surface use a hammer to hit the axle. Damage in any case here could compromise the quality and safety of the repair....

(I’m sorry if my answer sounds rude kk) Now, hopefully u have ur Sockets still in their boxes that they came in. If u do just use ur common sense and take one socket that u might think will fit. If it doesn’t then try another one. And eventually u will find the right one that fits....

Chosen Solution When I put in my hard drive it causes the red dot in the middle. When I remove the hard drive it boots up with No problem. No other lights blink and the psu has a green light on it when powered on. Any suggestions? @spellman1989at this point I would go ahead and replace the HDD. See what you get with a new drive.
