Chosen Solution How much heat do I need to use losen the glue that holds the screen Eimantas Bruškis somewhere in the 50deg C to 70 deg C should work. You can use a heatgun or better yet a hot plate. If you use a heatgun make sure that keep it moving along the screen to distribute the heat evenly. I personally use a heating pad to conduct heat evenly with 75* C for about 8 to 10 mins based on the room temp and if you use 60*C let it sit for around 15 mins or more....

Canned air is good to do this so you don’t actually touch anything inside. A dirty fan could limit its cooling ability and result in it working hard to cool things down.
