I connected a new display and turn it on. at the beginning the screen work normally till I turn it off, when I try to wake it up it still off, the touch is work but no image. Thats my guess btw You could have some luck, since the flex cable could simply needs cleaning (isopropanol 99%). Chosen Solution Ah! The cable covering! The US version is woven. I’m not sure if all of the foreign market units are woven as well. Each country has rules on the cords and the AC plugs so its possible the unit you have is one of these. As the HomePod has a dual voltage power supply using a plug adapter would allow it to work with in a different countries power system....
Chosen Solution How to remove the heat sink from the motherboard? Not sure how far you are into this, but to remove the heat sink you will see 4 screws around the end of it and 2 screws farther back towards the fan. Those screws will need to be removed. The will also need to be removed as there is a screw under it also that hold it in place.
