Chosen Solution I was finished changing Pro Controller shells until I found the right stick feeling crunchy when I clicked it. After clicking, the stick would often get stuck on the right side, and when I opened the controller again, I found this part popping out when the stick was pressed. Chosen Solution Will not charge. The inside of the charger is broken. Sally Daniel, the charging port is connected to a flex cable. all you have to do is replace that. No soldering involved. Flex cable is available at places like this and many others I don’t think the charge port is USB, it uses a mini cord that should slip over the contact. i think you need to resolder that USB port go to ifixit youtube channel and check out resolder of USB port on SGS3, on SGT4 it should be the same i don’t think SGT4 has USB port on doughterboard (so you just replace that little piece ) resoldering that without equipment is nearly impossible you can buy tools and DIY but it’s gonna cost you a bit

Cassie Wilderman download the service manual from here. page 109 tells you exactly what to remove etc. It is “not” a separate keyboard but it is riveted to the bottom case and you pretty much remove everything around it so it is pretty involved.

Chosen Solution Seem to be having kernal_task thermal throttling. Where CPU is throttled to 0.8GHz and fans run max. Issue is intermittent so only happens sometimes but it massively frustrating. All sensors are fine. Had previously SSD fitted but had stock HDD refitted to no avail. Confirmed that mac is not overheating. How would I disable the thermal throttling? You have a hardware level issue, it’s not an issue with Mojave....

Since it’s water damaged I don’t think apple is gonna fix it under warranty. The water seems to have got in between the LCD. Not sure if its possible for this ipad but the LCD it self is made up of different layers and would have to be taken apart and replace the sheets that are wet, this was easy to do in the earlier versions of the iPhones....

As practical addition of the original Hardware Maintenance Manual which alone is not fully satisfactorily.
