Chosen Solution The backlight on my Kindle Oasis Model No. SW56RW no longer works. It will not get brighter, and it is too dim to read. I go to settings, and then to the Light, and press the light slider up and down, nothing happens. Can someone offer assistance? Can this be fixed? You could try to factory reset the device to see if it’s a software issue. If that doesn’t do anything, then my best guess if that your LCD back light has gone bad and that you may have to replace the entire LCD assembly....

Chosen Solution my dell isn’t starting up i think it is the battery that doesn’t make it start If you doubt it’s the battery interfered the computer’s startup process. Try removing the battery to run the laptop from just the AC power. If it works, you may have a defective battery that needs replacing. If nothing fixed the problem, this indicates that the problem may be on other components of the laptop, at least you can do some basic troublshooting....

Chosen Solution Everything is working perfectly fine but I just can’t see anything. Apple said it had water damage and to buy a new one. I just can’t see buying a new one if it works fine with the exception of viewing it. Can I just replace a light? You will need to replace the LCD by following the guide. That should fix the problem for you. Be careful. We just replaced the screen on our Ipod Gen 4 to try to address the backlight problem, and the new screen had the same problem....

Chosen Solution I wish to replace the glass of the top screen to fix scratches, NOT the full LCD, that works fine/ You need to purchases an opening tool, I recommended one from plastic so you wont damage anything. Once you open the top screen plastic and you pull the screen out (no need to take the ribbons out, just be careful) you would notice a a frame around the screen, slowly start to pull it off with the opening tool, it’s glued pretty good....

So if you use a video like this and do it yourself, the cost is around $30USD. The LG K7 LCD screen is about $30 online, if you replace it yourself, the cost is $30+transport cost+tariff+repair tools, if you repair it in a repair shop, it may cost above $50....

Chosen Solution I had to see a mechanic to find the source of the check engine light because it wouldn’t pass inspection unless the light was out. He said I had four codes. Also, the blower motor was burnt out. He replaced a few components in the interior of the engine, installed a new battery and a new battery brace. He put in a new blower motor behind the dashboard compartment and a new AC filter....

Chosen Solution Has anyone tried to make a new housing for their soundsticks? my soundsticks are falling apart, wiring and housing, and I want to fix them. I’m also thinking about hooking them to an 18v battery from a drill and make them portable. Has anyone tried anything like this before and if so have you any advice? When you plug your computer into the cable modems Ethernet port are you able to connect to the internet? If you can, your problem is the default gateway setting in your D-Link is not set to the cable modems IP address....

Chosen Solution So, right above the power button, there’s an area on the speaker grid that has somehow gotten pushed up (think like a dent, but reversed.) and is somewhat cracking because of this. Chosen Solution How can i remove those scratches (space grey)? The case has an anodized finish which is only a few microns thick. The finish is quite hard and depending depth of the scratches you are more likely to remove it if you try polishing the scratches out. Things you can try to protect your phone from getting damaged is to use a case or skins designed for your phone.

(there should be a groove you can open the casing from) then the battery is an easy enough replacement. slide the old one out, and put the new one in. if you cant open the casing, take it to a local repair shop. should be approximately 40$ for someone to do it....
