Hi Just from what I know about displays in general the manufacturer will need to make a panel with the same connector type between the two displays to make them interchangeable which is quite uncommon as 4K panels need more power and if you were to put the incorrect power into a display it could cause some serious damage ,however maybe if you ask the manufacturer of the display if they are interchangeable you might get a different answer I recommend putting your 4K display back together (unless there’s a issue that wasn’t mentioned) and enjoying the quality of it as if you are going down to 1080p most of the time that’s a downgrade unless you are wanting better performance in games Hopefully this helps Any questions please ask Thanks:-)

Chosen Solution Home button is faulty, More often doesn’t work, but Touch ID does. I tried changing the screen, completely, flex cables as well, but nothing. Tried with a new home button, same issue. Don’t know anymore what to try to make it work. Ideas? From what I can gather is that the fingerprint circuit is all okay. That tells me your menu key connection is faulty. There is not a lot on that circuit and I would suspect either a faulty connector or a nudged component....

Also the flywheel bolts you’re referring to would be the ones connecting the torque converter to the flywheel? Most cars have a cover plate at bottom of the transmission next to engine (inspection plate). You’ll be able to see those bolts once its removed....
