Chosen Solution I have 4 working DSi XL consoles. On 3 of them I experience the same difficulty charging the battery. When the charger is plugged, its terminal makes EITHER poor contact OR none at all, and I have to twist and turn and contort the charger terminal to get the charging light to come on and to stay on. I’ve opened one of the consoles (the “hardest to charge” one) to replace the port with spares bought off the Internet But the soldered leads on the port seem fine....

Chosen Solution The tip of my headphone cord (i.e. the portion that’s inserted) broke off and is stuck in my headphone jack. Chosen Solution PowerMac G4 dual drive I have an older PowerMac G4 (dual drive) and it just recently starting freezing at boot up to the grey screen with apple logo… Won’t go passed that. Try this video and see if it works for you. While you are replacing the charging port, take lots of pictures and make a guide for the rest of us. Chosen Solution how to relace dc port kevin howard the DC jack is soldered to the motherboard. So you would want to remove that first. Use something like this guide Acer C720 Motherboard Replacement or this video for that. After that you will have to desolder the old jack to replace it with a new one from places like this and many others.

Chosen Solution This happened 3 times actually, I dropped it by accident and when I pick it up, colored lines appear through the screen. I took it to the apple store and this guy at the genius bar bent the corners of the screen and fixed it. The 2nd time, the same thing happened but then the lines were gray instead of colored, I got it fixed at the apple store but they warned me that I have to be extra careful with it or it may break again....

Chosen Solution This horizontal line has appeared and seems to now be permanent. In the past it came and went randomly. The line color changes and seems to change color across the screen but doesn’t seem related to the content on the screen.
