Hi, The hard part in doing a repair if the speaker end plug of the cable has been damaged is finding the appropriate replacement plug that fits into the player’s power socket, as it seems to be a proprietary plug made by or for Flexson. If you have the tools and the skills, then depending on where the cable was chewed and if the speaker end cable plug was still OK you could do a “dirty” repair and cut away the wall socket plug end and connect a new wall plug with a suitable length of new power cable of appropriate gauge wire to the remnants of the old cable with the speaker plug still attached....

Chosen Solution Kindle Paperwhite 3rd edition, need to replace charging port, metal prongs are bent here are the guides for the kindle paperwhite 3rd gen tablets. this doesn’t say exactly how to replace the charging port but it do do the motherboard. looking at this guide you can figure out where the connections are for the papaerwhite and replacing something like the charging port would require some soldering i think. Chosen Solution I’ve recently completed a screen replacement of my pixel 3 phone. Everything seems to have gone well except now when I’ve booted it back up to test things the phone is continuously activating the google assistant feature like i’ve squeezed the squeeze sensors. I still haven’t fully glued the back cover back on so i’ve disconnected the squeeze sensors and it’s still happening. Any ideas are welcome. It looks like most of the rest of the phone works....
